Description:
The M16 rifle was developed during the 1960's as a replacement for the US Army's ageing M14. The rifle began life with some teething problems, and the first batch released into service by colt had problems with a bolt prone to jamming in the arduous conditions of the Vietnam battlefield. This is the first version of the rifle, earmarked the VN version, which pre-dates the introduction of a forward assist mechanism, seen on later versions of the rifle.
G&P have expertly reproduced this classic fore father of the M16 in AEG form, with a full metal construction, with all the correct markings, and comes with the classic short style metal M16 magazine. Internally this AEG produces good performance out of the box with a high speed motor and reinforced gearbox.
